Can anyone give me information on the Somert-Nancy-Faubush areas?
Mainly looking toward more rural areas like Nancy, Faubush, Jabez.

Not looking for employment, but am interested in general information like people in area (ie. average age, friendly, long-time residents vs transient, migrant or tourist, average income level, etc).

Property/home prices, values, acreage (large tracts), availability, foreclosures?

Recreation: Boating (lake access), farming, stables, horseback riding, ATVing?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

There's some info on Somerset here -Lake Cumberland Kentucky* - Somerset-Pulaski Convention & Visitors Bureau

Most of the Nancy area west of Somerset is nice and very rural. A lot of the growth in Somerset is on the southwest side of town.

The Kentucky Data Center website lists everything possible about each county in the state. You can go to the website and click on Pulaski County.

Default Thanks for the info - just a little bit LATE!

I asked about the area more than a year and a half ago (posted; 09-28-2006).

Have since, personally visited the area, and formed my own opinions.

Again, thanks anyway!

I just noticed in your profile on another post, you must already have a place up here. Oops.

Maybe someone else will find the info useful.
