Default Moving to Kentucky

Hi all- I've been looking to get to Kentucky for a while now, mainly Louisville, or Lexington. I've grown tired of the endless WI winters, and pathetic social climate. The trouble I'm having is finding an employer that is willing to consider on out of stater. I understand why I guess, although it maybe isn;t fair (who said life WAS fair anyways) I've always liked Kentucky, the weather, the people, the scenery, and would sure love to be part of it. Is there something I can do to get employers to at least consider me. My work history is a good one, and as a mid-level professional, I'm not in such high demand, but would still be a great fit somewhere. Are there any suggestions out there besides the usual Monster, CareerBuilder? Thanks all for your help.

Have you tried looking into state jobs in Frankfort... they have a website... also...
as a federal employee myself... I would definitely recommend USAJOBS.. these are all federal jobs and you can choose by state, etc. Many openings everywhere... including here in Kentucky!

Good luck and I hope you get to eventually call KY your home!
