Tornadoes are getting worse every year throughout the whole state unfortunately.

As far as flooding goes, O-boro gets it MUCH worse than Henderson.

Henderson is touted as one of the only Kentucky cities that is on the river but never in it. It's due to the fact that it's built on the bluffs higher above the river than most river cities. Sure the bottoms flood, but you don't want to live back there anyway, lol!

I live downtown, and have for years, and no worries about flooding here.
