I was had recently broke my foot while working. Went on FMLA and then I received a letter of termination. I worked for this employer for six years. I did everything I they told me to do while on leave. Phone calls, doctors letters, ext....while I was on my FMLA I fell at home and broke my shoulder. I tried to come back to work and just not use my broken arm, my boss told me that if I have restrictions the. I can't come back to work and just stay home. Then they fired me.....
I filed for unemployment and was denied because my employer said I voluntarily quit, which is not true!! I loves that company and wouldn't have quit. So I appealed the decision.
The first hearing the employer didn't show, and the judge was sick so they changed the hearing date... Just had my rescheduled hearing and again the employer is a no show....I still plead my case and was extremely nervous.
I haven't heard anything yet from my hearing since it was only five days ago...... So I was just wondering if anyone had any advice as to how the alj will rule? Any help would b appreciated!
