I am looking for any information about attempted abductions, flasher type incidents in Owensboro during the late 70's early 80's. My friend and I where approached by a man in a car near Cravens Elementary who tried to pull us into his car. Other young girls in that end of town reported similar incidents around that time frame.

I wondered if anyone remembers anything like that. I remember a couple of girls being murdered in the early 80's and wondered if it was the same dude.

Quite disturbing to say the least...

Interesting, a friend at my former workplace who is in his 50s and grew up in Owensboro would probably remember this. He has a steel trap memory. I will ask him of I see him.

I aksed around with my family about this and nobody can remember anything specifically. Of course they don't live in Owensboro proper, they live out in SE Daviess County, Hancock and northern Ohio county.

We're only females approached? I'm working on a mystery about a thousand miles away. Before the 11 incidents that happened here, he lived in that area. But, he only approached boys 11-17 or so. If that triggers anything, please let me know.
