RuralGuy, in response to this, I personally am from the Louisville area, and currently visit/live there in Florence, KY usually every other weekend and I truly do like the area and could actually see myself living there one day, because of the friendliness of the area that I have received from there.

Not biased towards Louisville as much as I am with the Northern Kentucky area, and NOT because my girlfriend lives there, if I had the opportunity to move there without knowing her I would most likely if I ever got to visit there and stay with someone that knew the area like she did and take me around like she has and introduced me to her friends and family that live in the Greater Cincy area west of the there in Indiana. Just the overall friendliness of the Greater Cincinnati is awesome, I am sure not everyone there is like that but I just wish everyone could be more like that. I do like Louisville, okay with the general overall aspect of living in Louisville, but I have just made a opinion and simply stating which I prefer.

Quote from MissyMomof3:

I think maybe part of the problem is that there seem to be many NKY people who don't WANT to be identified with Cinci and vice-versa. I think they want an identity of their own.

Well, I will support the "Society for prevention of suburbanites from claiming anything to do with the amenities of nearby cities". So I'll vote for a "suburban nowhere" thread.
