Interesting. I didn't know that Arlington County had such a good rep for schools. I usually hear about Fairfax County (I still own a place there), but since my daughter is now in K, I never got that far.

Bethesda is great. A few of my good friends went to Woodrow Wilson HS. So nice. One of my friends always complained that it was too yuppie, but she's now on the upper east side of NY. I digress.

As do I. Though I don't live there, I have seemed to have gained some knowledge of DC (the MD side) just from visiting there so much and I'd love to live there sometime in the future (assuming I could afford a nicer area). Ok, back to answering questions about KY and schools now...

I met a client who moved here from Iowa- raising her grandson. Grandson suffers from some learning disorders relating to effects of dysfunctional mother. He is enrolled in a local school, involved with sports, has met good friends. Lexington is a wonderful place for children to "plug-in."
