^^If one were to look to up the slopes of the hill, Camp Duffield is located near the top of the bluff. It was a Union battery employed to impede Confederate gun boats on the Ohio River. The entrenchments are readily visible during the Autumn and Winter.

I hear the fishing there is great. The neighbor caught a ton of catfish & bass last year.

Here are a couple more pics taken last April...it was cold! The eventual homesite is on the ridge overlooking the river (river is behind the camera) about 75 feet to the right of my truck. The cabin site is directly in front of the truck.
