I love horses so I might get friends that way
I don't go to church and well there's lots of us in Kentucky that do NOT go to church. I have no problem living here because of it. That cracks me up. We're not all church going people here.

MegHall is on a distinguished road

I am guessing that you didn't live in Lexington because here we can see an independent film & people from foreign lands without driving an hour. But what good is that? The independent films I've seen have been worse than the garbage Hollywood churns out. I didn't think that was possible(!). But I will agree with you on one matter - the state can get boring sometimes. Fortunately Vegas is just an airplane away. This is the American dream - living with the saints... the sinners (ala Vegas) are only fun for a little while, in small doses.
As I said, LA is not the place for me - so obviously the grass isn't greener here...the grass isn't even REAL here. I wouldn't go so far to say it's in ruin "from all the liberals"...I'm sure we're all equally to blame. That isn't my point. Obviously we have different lifestyles and different interests (and different opinions on film). Obviously you haven't been outside of Lexington/Louisville/Bowling Green either (yawn). My point was to encourage someone to step outside the box of small town life. Yes, Lexington is still small town life - no matter what you choose to think.

KY people are not saints. They are hypocrites with a "holier-than-thou" attitude. Granted, there are many people in KY that I know to be amazing and genuine, most will look down their nose at you if you aren't A) rich (by KY standards) B) Baptist or C) a Republican. If I can encourage someone to flee from the close-mindedness and snobbery, I will. As long as it's not to LA, haha.
