Default where is the better place to live, KY/OH or WI/MN?

My husband got 2 jobs offers, one is from Highland Heights, KY (Cincinnati, OH area) and another one is River Falls, WI (St. Paul/Minneapolis, MN area). Since both jobs salary will be almost same (WI has few thousand bucks more), we could not make decision. Is anyone knows both of areas and could give us some idea?

Default Which area?

I'm familiar with both of those locations and as you'd expect, it depends on what you consider important.

River Falls is a small college town and if you're looking for inexpensive housing, this is it. It's about an hour drive to the twin cities with no larger sized towns in between. Full time residents (non-students) are friendly and have a keen interest in the long term future of keeping River Falls from becoming a 'suburb of the twin cities'. Farming is king in the town and everybody 'knows your name' and the city is extremely safe with decent schools.

Northern Kentucky has some really grand and expensive neighborhoods, especially Edgewood. I've been in Highland but know Cinci more. The Highland area is going to have higher housing costs but the weather is going to be a lot milder than NW Wisconsin. There is significantly more activities in the Cinci area but has more of a small town fell compared to the Twin Cities. Wonderful airport in Cinci - which is about a 20 from Highland where River Falls is at least an hour's drive.
