Default Maybe Moving to Kentucky..

Can anyone tell me of a northern Kentucky small town that has a larger town
less than a half an hour or so away for work??? We are looking for a small town 6,000 or less people and also a town that does not want to change.
And lower home pricing if you know of it and rental pricing...?????????????
I grew up in North Idaho and moved my southern husband here and we just don't care for the snobbiness. This is just not where I grew up. It is very expensive here and my husband grew up in Pineville & Tenn. & Florida. We just need a little more information. Can anybody help?

Thank you!

I used to live in north Idaho and I ran my own business for years. My husband and I finally moved away after the town that we lived in Coeur d' Alene kept changing so drastically. The economy was horrible there and my whole family worked six months out of the year. I don't balme you for wanting to leave there. There are plenty of larger towns in Kentucky that I know that I can reccomend to you. Lexington is a great one. It is a little more expensive and rents are 900 and up or so . Home vary from 100,000+. I am not so sure oin the small towns. Good luck on your possible move. I am sure that your husband will be glad too be back home. Alot less snobbiness as well inthe southern small towns, I have to report. The east coast is so much better.

I have other links for housing if you need them later. I know some realtors here and prop management companies.

Yes, it is a job transfer. Anyone know of any little towns with outlaying larger towns with work??? We would both be more than likely commuting to the next town.

I think several people are attempting to help you, but since we don't know enough about you and/or your job location, we can't get specific. Please advise where your spouse's job will be in more specific terms such as zip code, cross roads, near a landmark such as a stadium, airport, zoo, downtown, etc.

The traffic flow of drivetimes will be something members of this forum can assist more than just a mileage distance, too.
