Default Looking for a house to rent in Ky

I see that most of Ky is for sale....is there any houses for rent? We came up on Tuesday and started at Cadiz and worked our way to Bowing Green the first day...then worked all the way over to Sommerset and down in the Lake Cumberland area ....only found 2 rentals...one was $600 and loved it, but couldnt have our dogs.....and then the other one was a house around Montecello area and it was too small.....

We need a 2-3 bedroom house in a good area, could be outside town....would love a really small town...( we didnt like Hopkinsville or Elkton) wasnt real freindly where we looked.....Would like to keep the rent down to between $275 to $450....Living on a fixed income......we have 3 dogs, they are well groomed and behaved ...one is strictly an outside dog......Please let me know if you come across a rental .....need to know within 2 weeks.....even looking in the Tennesse area.....we dont want to live in a College town....that is what we are getting away from...

Thanks so much

Lee Ann

Lee Ann, a $450.00 month rental as you describe is quickly becoming a thing of the past. Be especially careful if you find such a place as even the lowest rates of utilities can cost you huge amounts, especially with winter heating bills.

I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks, we had found a place, but it was very old and had a really bad smell of mildew, seems they had a water leak, something to do with a well and they changed over to city water, we were worried that there had been more damage than we could see ....and it might have been a health problem....

We pay 675 now and but with the utilities here, it is getting hard.....we are looking to buy in a year or so and will be going alternative energy.....should help alot. We saw that Ky had some good programs for solar and other options.

The people we rent from are great, they allow pets and their houses are pretty nice. They also offer rent to own. Send me a PM if you need any more info, we live in the Somerset area.

Default house for rent

I have a 2bd 1 bth house for rent in Irvine, Kentucky. Nice covered patio, front porch, small fenced yard and covered off street parking. $350 per mo. plus $200 deposit. Would like long term renters that would take care of this nice little house. Someone who cares about their surroundings. One floor house.

please e-mail back if you are interested.
