Barren River Lake has some very nice houses right on the water and there are still a lot of building lots for sale. They do allow docks also.

Any place on Barkley or Kentucky Lake. Western Shores is a new area on Kentucky Lake which is offering tremendous savings right now on lots. They are have a special Aug 8th. They advertise 60% off.
