I felt it in Chicago, alright. I'm fairly certain that was my first earthquake. I've never lived in a particularly active zone. Still don't, really!

Felt it here in St. Louis as well. Sounds like it did more damage to the north (Springfield, Chicago) than to the west - we only had moderate shaking of the walls - almost felt like when the front of the really strong storm comes through.

It was mostly shaking my bed, nothing major but just enough I knew what it was. I felt the one in the 80's too, I was sitting on the ground outside for that one.
