Moving to Princeton
I just got a job in Princeton, KY and I have to move there very soon. I need help finding a place to live. I don't want to buy a house right now because we own a place in Lexington and have to sell it first. I want to rent and I would like to rent a house instead of an apartment. I hope someone can help me or at least point me in the right direction!!!!

Try craigslist. You can search by location and price. Also many have pictures of the rentals. Here is the link.
craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums

Thanks for the advice! I have already checked out craigslist and couldn't find anything close. Everything was over an hour away!

Click For Ads
Try that. I searched for the Princeton Times-Leader and then clicked through to their real-estate ads. There was only one rental house apparently located IN Princeton, and it was a no-pets place.
Good luck! And enjoy the Land Between the Lakes. That is the best part of that area of the state.
ETA:
If you can't find anything suitable in Princeton, Eddyville is an easy drive on a wide straight road, and closer to the lakes.

Thanks for the advice! I looked around other areas and found a few places. How far of a drive is hopkinsville? Are there any areas in hopkinsville to watch out for, like areas with worse crime rates? I don't know how big of a town that is.

I am not sure about the distance (or road quality) between Princeton and Hopkinsville. Hopkinsville is a good bit bigger than Princeton, I do know that. I bet there is a page on this city-data website telling about population and such for Hopkinsville, although it won't tell about areas of the city.

It's about a 25-30 mile drive from Princeton to Hopkinsville. I've driven that road (Ky. 91) several times. Christian County is one of the larger counties in the state and it seems like you drive forever to get to Hoptown! lol As far as a rental place you might check with some of the realtors. They might possibly have some to rent or could tell you who does.

I don't mind to drive 25-30 miles everyday. How much should I expect to pay for rent in Cadiz? What about hopkinsville?

Most people in western KY don't even know what craigslist is. LOL.
Use this.
Show 'N Tell
This is where people put classified ads in that area...you can put a free ad in there, online. Good luck

Might check the Cadiz Record ( Cadiz Record ). They have rental property in there. I'll warn you, the "527" phone numbers are in the Benton area.
