Default Northern KY Schools

Relocating in a few months also. Would like to know what areas of NKY have the best school systems as I have 2 girls 7 and 14. I will be working in Cincinnati and and would not mind a communte as long as its not too long. The top priority is the school system in the area.

Ft Thomas school system is generally known as one of the best in the state. Ft. Thomas Highlands High excels both academically and athletically. Ft Thomas also gives very easy access to downtown and I-275.

Ft. Thomas schools are outstanding - also, a great area to live.

Where are you working? Unless you work outside of the city far up north you will be within minutes anywhere in nky inside 275. Keep in mind all of these places are part of the same metro area.

That's a good question. I don't know an exact address yet. I haven't done an onsite visit nor have I been able to find an address in the yellow pages. The job is with the US postal service at a distribution and processing center.

Can anyone provide me with an address or point of reference of the center.

There's a USPS bulk mail/processing and distribution center on Dalton Avenue, which is basically at the edge of downtown (west side) and not far from the river. So you could get there relatively quickly from most anywhere in NKY.

For public schools Highlands in Ft. Thomas or Beechwood in Ft. Mitchell are the top schools, although most of the schools in Boone County are also pretty good. There are also a lot of good private parochial schools throughout the region.

You can't go wrong with beechwood (ft. mitchell), Highlands (ft. thomas) or any of the catholic schools (covington catholic), (notre dame) and there feeder schools.
