How many years....
has your family been in Kentucky? Mine has been here for about 200 years.

The first, Thomas Clark Hagan was married in Nelson county in 1816 and my family has been here ever since but it it doesn't say when they moved here.

There are family gravestones in Morgantown dating back to 1811, if I remember correctly. There may be some older ones around Rochester I'm told, just haven't made it over there to look yet.

Most in the late 1700's and they were given land grants after the Revolutionary War. Some came over in the mid 1700's but returned to VA to help the Revolution.
Most of my family came over from Scotland, Ireland, England in the late 1600's

Dad's side: moved to Harlan, KY in 1831
Mom's side: moved to Russell Springs, KY in 1840
