Gas in Mayfield was up to $1.79 gal this morning on Paris Rd, it's jumped 30 cents in the lest few days. One station was still at $1.65 but I'm sure that changed later in the day.

have been reading these posts. Where ever we end up is where the good lord puts us, but we've speculated on the possibilities of mayfield as well. we are from Il. and weary of our winters. I spent considerable time in Louisville and Sheperdsville as well as Lexington a few yrs ago and I really liked all three. I love the simple laid back way of living Ky. seems to have as a whole. May I ask what the temps rage year round? Do you have autumn colors? What would be snowfall/ ice expentency? Thanks so much.

We too are considering relocation. Would love any tips or advice.
My husband is in the machine trade. Lathe, printing press, cnc ect. he can do just about any thing like that.
We have two pre teens, and are looking for a great place to raise them, and make a good living. Suggestions would be so apperciated.
We would be coming from mid Mo. Small town. Looking for the same small town feel with good schools, jobs, and low crime. We would be looking to rent at first.
Thanks!
