A Lexington man arrested Thursday afternoon for a hit and run on the city's north side says he had good reason to do what he did.

The suspect, who was born Tyrone Faulkner but legally changed his name to Tupac Shakur 10 years ago for religious reasons says he beat Sean Cavins on Russel Cave Road because he saw him as a threat to his 7-year old son.

OMG!! That makes perfect sense!! I bet he has one of those "Safe Auto" insurance stickers on the back of his car.
