i never liked beshear. as a historical democrat, i still always said that he was no good. i did really like fletcher. fletcher was a proponent for louisville. i heard beshear say something about the golden triangle and how our economy is already okay and that we have enough jobs and education and that it's time to move that to the rural areas. that is not true and is a terrible thing to say for obvious reasons.

Fletcher was a good Governor. I'm just not so sure about Beshear. I didn't vote for him.

I liked Annie Northrop over Fletcher, she's smart cookie and probly shoulda won the Repub primaries. But its like the fatcats thought Fletch would have better chance of beatin Beshear i think. With luck now lets hope Besh finishes his slooow start run at the office without too much Democrat over-spendin, over-regulatin and over-taxing. Could be that his quiet "tell me what to do" game haint such a bad thing. I kinda liked his Wilderness and Game Preserve legislation that carves trails at Knot and Harlan Co's. Didnt cost any money, just a buncha paper shuffling, and kicks open doors for farmers (may be hurtin right now) with hundred or more acres to set em themselves up for extra income too without liability to them.

Let's nominate kentuckydad. At least he won't hesitate to tell you what he thinks about it all! lol
I worked for the state under Fletcher and retired right after Beshear took office. Before the November election, word trickled down from Frankfort that if Fletcher lost, he was going to be a very very sore loser! He proved them right on that part! Beshear is going to have to get on the ball quick if he wants to prove himself! Maybe he got off to a slow start, maybe he was just running because he knew a lot of people wanted Uncle Ernie out because of some of the bull he pulled. (Both parties have been doing the same thing for years!) I'm a democrat but this time it was a bad choice either way!
But, like they say, opinions are like rear ends! Everybody has one!

Why does it have to be a gentleman? A lady will work too.
