If you have time, you should check out the Big South Fork Rail Road. It is in McCreary Co, which is south of Somerset.

If you like Amish crafts, you might want to go to some of the Amish run stores in Casey Co. I can give you more detailed directions if you need them

Lastly, if you want to eat at an old time country restaurant, I'd recommend Coe's Steak House in Russell Springs - it is the Check's Cafe of Russell County. I've been eating there since I was 4.

Some general directions from Somerset
- take Cumberland Parkway west to the Nancy exit (KY 80)
- turn right at the end of the ramp, go approx. 7.4 miles
- turn right (north) on KY 910. If you pass Windsor Grocery, you've went too far
- Go approx. 5.9 miles on KY 910. Dutchman's Craft Store will be on your left. To go to Nolt's Bulk Foods Store turn right on South Fork Road. There are signs for it, I think it's about 2-3 miles. It is on a steep hillside on the left side of the road.

Are you taking US 127 or I-75?

Off I-75 Berea has tons of neat craft stores. Th Warren May Dulcimer Store in downtown Berea is really cool, it is right next to Boone Tavern.

If you like Cracker Barrel, they have stores in both Danville (US 127 bypass at Bus. 127) and Somerset (next to Wal Mart) now
