G'Day, Kevin!

I think you will like Kentucky, but it will be quite different from Australia! Good luck with finding the perfect horse farm, I am sure that you will be able to find something that suits you.

Digger~

What kind of population base are you looking to live near?

the area north of Lexington (between Lex and Ohio) is growing quickly and pushing the farms out. I'd suggest looking to the east or in central KY -- the Garrard, Mercer, Boyle Lincoln area. Those counties are close enough to Lexington for ammenities, growing, and still have larger tracts of land available. Boyle has good schools.

Good luck.
