BrightonMan84 is on a distinguished road
I'm not even American (I'm English) and I know Kentucky is in the South. I mean, even the name of the state sounds Southern. I mean, just say it, Ken-tuck-ee.

Yes, Kentucky is southern. Daniel Boone, Abraham Lincoln and many other famous Americans are associated with the state. It is truly a jewel among us.

By the way, one of my best friends lives in Milton Keynes UK.

BrightonMan,
Yep, we consider ourselves southern. Some people seem to think you can go drawing lines and sticking things where you want them to be without understanding the heart of the matter. I hope you like our name. Kentucky is actually a Native American name meaning Land of Tomorrow or Dark and Bloody Ground, depending on which translation you want to believe. Have you been here? If not, hope you can visit us some day.
