Default Retiring in Middlesboro

My wife and I are considering retiring in Middlesboro (Middlesborough? Seen it spelled both ways), and would like to know if anyone can tell me what kind of utility bills we could expect in the winter months? Also, is it possible to find a home in a decent area for under $90,000? Any other information anyone can provide on the city and what it's like to live there would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

You can do a search on Middlesboro on this forum. At the top of the screen there is a "Search" link.

I love that area, however economically it's not doing so well. Retiring there would probably be great I would imagine. There's a lot of historic homes near downtown, some are huge and well kept.
