Post Louisa Kentucky

Transferring to the Big Sandy Area of Louisa, Kentucky at the end of October. We would love to hear anything, positive or negative, about the area. (Still moving there, LOL). Schools, community events, EMS agencies, weather, rural living, and most importantly, looking for housing for rent, preferably outside the city limits for two professional adults. If your answer is private you may email to shantel.debortoli@yahoo.com

Louisa is very very small. Nearest larger towns are Ashland and Pikeville.

Are you, by any chance, employees of the BOP? At any rate, I'm certain that you'll find better housing options in the Ashland area. Louisa is a nice town, but its very small.
