My sisters, brothers and I inherited a piece of land there named War Creek Farm from our mother who held it in partnership, an undivided interest, with Don Sebastian. We have not received any tax bills nor can we track him. We have the deed, and would like to find out what the status of the property is. What would you recommend? Which agency handles real estate matters and how can I track this down? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Contact the Sheriff's Department for that county. In Kentucky, it is the Sheriff's responsibility to collect all of the taxes for the county - and they should be able to tell you right off the bat what the status is. Dial information and get the number for the Morgan County Sheriff, and just give them a call.
Make sure to have the deed handy - as they may need certain information from the deed itself.
