Good morning. I am traveling from Mi to S Fl via I75 and would like to know if there are any gas shortage issues in and around 75 thru KY? I know GA is still having issues and if I can fill up before hitting GA I can make it far enough south past the issues.

If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it...

I believe any gas shortage issues we have are all in western parts of the state. I can guarantee you won't have any problems finding gas between Cincinnati and Lexington and likely not south of Lexington either. I filled up yesterday for $3.48 in Northern Kentucky.

Thank you so much for your reply...I'm about freaking out thinking I won't be able to find gas and I'm traveling alone so that's added stress..lol...and it's so hard to find accurate infor regarding the gas issue because everyone is talking about the bailout. lol Thank you again for your reply...I was figuring if I can have a full take by Dalton GA I'll make it almost to Valdosta GA.

We're having no shortages here in Lexington and we're located on I-75. I filled up for $3.50 a few days ago. I don't think the problem starts until you get closer to Chattanooga where you can only put 10 gallons of gas in your tank at a time (so my aunt tells me as she lives in Chatt.).

Ditto what others said - I regularly travel between Lexington and Cincinnati along I-75 and have not heard about nor experienced any shortages in that stretch. Yesterday I filled up at a Shell station at one of the Georgetown exits and their regular gas was down to $3.47.

There are no gas shortages around here. Gas in Corbin has been around $3.32 at several gas stations. In London this morning it was $3.44 - $3.48.

Even in the western part of KY, we have plenty of gas. Reasonable prices, no lines...we're good to go

Here in western Ky. I gassed up for $3.41.9 at the Flying J truck stop near Ft. Campbell. I haven't seen any shortages anywhere in this area. We don't get our fuel from the same places Tennessee nad Georgia do.
Milabs we jsut came home from the Smoky Mountains and didn't have any problems with gas. We gassed up in Maryville and there was plenty of gas.

In far western KY there is NO gas shortages, it's still prices above state average, but coming down. It's down to $3.69, down 10 cents from yesterday ... frankly I think it's gouging.
