Only $5??? That's $5 too much. Name one other paper around here that charges for online. Don't get me started on their print edition price.
If you want rentals, go to Murray. Because they have a college, their rentals outnumber the one's in Paducah 10-1.

But if her husband is working in the Paducah area, Murray is way too far to drive, especially with gas prices the way they are. Right??
When I wanted to find a rental, I took a one month subscription for the Paducah Sun. I think it's a terrible paper, and I would never subscribe otherwise, but it was worth a one-shot deal of $5 to find a rental.

It's a 40 minute drive. In alot of area's of the country, that is a good commute time.
Yeah, the Paducah paper is truly a joke. Last I priced it, you could get the C-J cheaper.

Kentuckydad, you'd be surprised how many newspapers chrge to read online. If it was free quite a few people wouldn't buy the print copy. The Hopkinsville New-Era is like that too. The Paducah paper is good for one thing free. You can read the obituaries free of charge! lol

They should put the word "newpapers" in the obits. They will be extinct within 15 years. I heard a report the other day stating DVD's will be no-more as well. EVERYTHING is digital now. No need for actual "physical" objects anymore. Hell, people don't even socialize together anymore. It's all chat rooms, message boards, etc. Makes me wonder how I fell into this trap...lol

Cardinal Point and Mora-mi apartments
I am moving to the area and found some places online. I was informed that the location of these two apartments isn't very nice. Both being so close to couple of parks; I am confused why is that. Any comments?

There's alot of petty crime in that area, mainly car break-ins and vandalism. The adjacent shopping center is full of payday loan stores and a tattoo shop. Both of these apartment complexes cater to the lower middle class.
Noble Park is nice in the daytime, but there are better neighborhoods to live in.
The better/newer apartment complexes are west of I-24 and the mall area. I haven't seen them advertised, online or otherwise.
