Default Does any one know deckhand pay?

Hello! I found a job listing online for deckhands and I was wondering what the prevailing rate is locally. The listing is through the state labor board, so getting information from them right now is impossible. If someone could help me out I would appreciate it!

In my area it's usually around $150 per day to start out.

I'm looking for specifically when applying through the state of KY. This job is unique in that it states that the rotation is 28 days on with 28 PAID days off. So now I wonder is pay over a hundred a day or far less... My last job was in NY, where AB's pocket $309 plus whatever's left from the grub money. I'm trying to figure out why I left...

If you're wanting to check through working for the state go to Kentucky.gov : Home . On the blue bar over by the governor's pic, click on employment and training opportunities. On that page scroll all the way down to state government job listing. On this page you can put your application with the state online. Then, when you see a job you want to check on just log in and put the job listing number on the application. But for looking for jobs, scroll down to search openings. I didn't see anything for deckhand but you can put everything in and see what comes up. I can almost guarantee you you will make less working for the state instead of a barge company. Good luck!
