Danville or Harrodsburg?
My wife and I will soon need to relocate to either Harrodsburg or Danville for employment purposes. We've visited both cities recently and liked both for different reasons. We liked Harrodsburg for it's small town feel, but there didn't seem like a lot to do there entertainment wise. On the other hand Danville had a lot to choose in that regard but is almost too big for us. We'll be relocating from a large nearby city specifically to get away from the traffic and rat race. It's going to be a difficult decision which one to choose; can anyone out there be of assistance? Thanks.

There is almost nothing in Harrodsburg, but if you like the small town feel live there and drive to Danville for entertainment, shopping, restaurants, etc. They are very close.
Sick of Lexington, huh?

Danville, went to school there and loved it. You can can easily get to Lexington for anything you can't get in Danville.

Danville. Got family in both, both are nice, but Danville has both the small town atmosphere and metropolitan mentality.

If Danville's too "big" for you, check out Perryville or Moreland/ Hustonville in Lincoln County. Moreland has a Dollar General store now and a Subway restaurant.
Also note that land in Mercer & eastern Boyle Co is alot more expensive than land in western Boyle or Lincoln Co.
