Default How many KY counties will go for Obama?

In 2000 Gore won Union, Muhlenberg, Jefferson, Franklin, Elliott, Breathitt, Harlan, Perry, Knott, Floyd, Pike, Letcher, and Boyd counties

In 2004 Kerry won Jefferson, Pike, Floyd, Knott, Carter, Magoffin, Owsley, Wolfe, and Menifee counties

Anyone want to venture a guess for 2008? I'm thinking Obama will win both Jefferson and Fayette plus the racially diverse counties of Christian & McCracken, and additionally Franklin, Union, and Muhlenberg. I don't think he will win any counties in Eastern KY

I just hope that who ever votes for Obama doesn't do so for these reasons.
YouTube - Obama Is Going To Pay For My Gas And Mortgage!!!

I am all for everyone getting to vote but seriously.....I wonder how many people are under the exact same mindset as her. What ever happened to the democratic party of JFK that said "ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country. Now it is "Obama is going to pay for my gas and mortgage and I don't have to work.

i actually have no idea on this one. i'd like to think he'd get jefferson, fayette, christian is a toss up (i know they are racially diverse, but they have a military population and they tend to favor the republicans), hopefully mccracken, maybe warren because of the university but probably not because it seems to be a well to do county. ahh! i have no idea.

obama gets my vote though! :-)

the woman didn't say that obama was going to pay for everything for her and she didn't have to work. she simply stated in other words that she thinks he is going to help working people like herself and cause working people to not have to worry so much about getting by like they are having to now.

? I don't know what you are talking about with the "Presidential Election" board...if one exists I have never been on it. What BS did I say? I just think people should work and not expect handouts thats all. I didn't say don't vote for Obama. I just said I hope that the people that do don't all have the same mindset that the woman on the video did. I not once said don't vote for him. And if you listen she does say she won't have to work and will have money for gas and a mortgage. Seriously kentucky dad calm down. I was commenting on that woman and never said not to vote for one person or the other. And what is BS about a quote from JFK?

Anywho, it won't really matter who KY picks for POTUS. We are about as relevant as Connecticut when it comes to choosing the POTUS.
