Default cost

I am moving to independence in December. I am a first time renter. Could anyone give me an educated guess on cost to turn on water. Also, I will be paying for gas and electricity only. Can anyone give a ballpark idea on what a 1 bed 1 bath appt would be (I am conservative). I know this is a vague question but all answers will help me.

Thank You

It all varies from town to town, but for water, I would think no more than a $100 deposit. Electric and gas will probably be more. Are you wanting to know how much it will cost (estimate) per month for utilities? It is impossible to answer because of about a million factors.

Call Northern Kentucky Water District at 859–578–9898 for the water question. Ask whoever you talk with if they might also know who provides electric and/or gas services for your planned address. With any luck, they'll be able to provide contact info. Good luck.
