Question moving to Kentucky with a horse!

I am 21 years old and planning on moving to Kentucky this summer. I have been looking at maybe Covington, Owensboro, or Frankfort area. Are there many places in any of these areas where you can rent a house and have a horse? I have lived in Michigan my whole life, and would like to explore a new place with more opportunities. I would really like to hear any feed back that anyone might have about these areas. Thank You!

I am sure there are locations around Frankfort that would fill your needs. One of the best situations you could hope for is to rent a vacant tenant farmhouse in the area. Your landlord is often right there on the farm and can be very helpful. They're tough to find though, and often are advertised by word of mouth only in the local community. Good luck.

You might want to also check out Lexington, which is pretty much the horst capitol of the world. There are horse farms everywhere.

That's the link to the Lexington Newspaper, which would be a good start for your search. Check out the classifieds for rental properties/farmland. Hope this helps! ~joanna~
