atv / offroad hotspots?
Hey everyone ! I know a lot of you folks from kentucky are really into the offroad/atving so i was really curious, where would you consider the "hotspots" for such activity? Any cities in mind more than the rest? Im going to be taking a trip down that way for a few weeks, wanted to scope out some places like this. Any help is greatly appreciated!

A friend of mine goes to a campground in Bowling Green at Beach Bend that has an ATV course.

There are tons of places in the SW part of Jefferson County but I don't know how to tell you to get to them They are kinda a secret for the locals.

Yeah, Turkey Bay is awesome, but the best place I have been to is Black Mountain over in eastern Kentucky (specifically right by a little town called Evarts in Harlan County near the Virginia state line). Also, there is a place called Haspin Acres in southern Indiana that would be a bit more convenient if you're from the Louisville area. Sadly, we've lost our best riding place of all. There USED to be a place known to most as "Livingston" or "909", located literally right off I-75 in southern KY near London. No need to tell the story but it was a good one. Also, up in northeastern Kentucky near Morehead there is a trail called the White Sulphur Trail that runs through part of the Daniel Boone National Forest, and it's a pretty fun one. So hopefully, no matter where you travel to in Kentucky, you'll be able to try out at least one of these places. This place isn't wide open to off-road vehicles and full of trails like say, Arizona, so I'm happy to have what places we do have.

My wife lived on one of the main routes from I-24 to the LBL. Especially during the summer but quite a bit in cooler weather too, we would see a lot of trucks hauling 4 wheelers and dirt bikes headed to Turkey Bay. Before meeting and marrying my step daughter, my son-in-law was stationed at Ft. Campbell and said it wasn't unusual for a bunch of them to spend most weekends there camping.
