A 1/4th of an inch of ice acculation has already been reported in Mayfield and Hawesville, with ice covering roads and trees throughout western KY

My family reported ice in central KY tonight. I'll be coming back for Christmas this weekend and I'm excited to see winter again. Seriously, I'm hoping for only snow, if anything, because ice still scares me to try to drive on.

lol, it may get a wee bit cool if you lose power, I've got 2 kerosene heaters and a generator in my storage building for just that reason...my house is all electric also.

We had no ice accumulation on trees and plants here in Lawrenceburg, but rather just on cars. There was 3" of snow at my house; some parts of south L'burg received 5" of snow.
