Default Souteast Kentucky Residents: Is it Snowing?

The idea is in my head to pick up my grandmother or visit her who lives in Leslie County
Like most years the weather doesnt cooperate. I use to live with her in the early 90's so I kinda know how to drive on hazardous winding hair pin roads and I miss seeing the huge icicles that form on the side of the mountains but is conditions right now til Christmas bad?
I will be traveling around Lynch mountain 160, 221, to 469 should I hold off on this trip?

xxmagex is on a distinguished road
Today was overcast, but other than that not bad driving weather. Weather.com shows rain but no snow for Leslie County Kentucky through the week with a low of 17 on Tuesday. Should be alright to travel if you're careful.

They are only giving flurries for SE KY today and tonight. A good website for weather is http://www.noaa.gov . Their weather forecasts come from local weather service offices.
