New To Henderson. I'm Wanting To Join A Church, Maybe A Club Or Two. Would Like To Make Friends, With Similar Interests. I'm A Mother/ Wife/ Foster Parent. Would Like To Get To Know Honest Friendly People.

Check the above link - I hope that will get you started. Are there any churches close to you? Generally, you will find the church members are very happy to have visitors - take a drive around your area on a Sunday morning and see what you think.

You mentioned you are a Foster parent - Get in touch with the local Foster parent program - they will have support groups you may get involved with - http://chfs.ky.gov/
- this should get you started!

I'll get on this for you today. May take me a bit - but I will come up with something. May I ask what denomination you are? Send me a pm if you prefer to keep it confidential. It will help me in putting you in touch with churches in your area.

Also - what ages are your kids? Are they involved in spotrs, etc? That would be a great place to start also - by getting involved at school. Most schools are screaming for parental help.
