So I am looking to finish up college after my 2-year community college stent. I was wondering how big of a difference culture wise there is? The reason I ask, I want to go to a urban type college and I really didnt like the culture feel that NKU had.

What are your school choices? UofL versus UC? Louisville and Cincinnati both have lots of colleges with different vibes....and prices. Are you an Ohio or KY resident?

The best way to decide btw two colleges that are only 100 miles apart is to spend time walking around each campus, eating at nearby restaurants, etc. A campus tour will also give you a feel of what the school is really like more than driving by ever could. You should try to schedule a tour at both schools.

I would tend to think U of L feels considerable more Southern because it draws more students from Western & South Central KY than NKU does.

I would advise to look into who offers the best in the program you are seeking to pursue....for example I know that UofL has the top of the line engineering school and their business school ranks pretty high up there as well.....just a thought. I don't know much about NKU but I know I truely enjoyed UofL and love the Ville!
