Kathy, I just moved from Sturgis a year ago. Have ex-in-laws in Uniontown.
Have you been to the Camp Breckinridge WWII museum in Morganfield yet?
It's something to see!
For those of you not from that area, the Earl C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield is the largest Job Corp Center in the country. It was built on what was Camp Breckinridge during WWII. There is a WWII Museum in what was the Officer's Club. Camp Breckinridge was a POW camp. The farmers and locals could come and get some German POWs to come and work for them. One of the POWs painted a mural on the wall of the Officer's Club of scenes somewhere in Germany. If you have a chance to go see this, go. Camp Breckinridge Museum & Arts Center . Look at the box of the right side of this page and click on murals.
