Thanks guys
Thanks to all of you who gave me so much information on all the universities across the state, especally the one that I am to far away to drive to in a day. I was going to reply to one of my old threads but as many questions as i have asked, whats one more going to hurt lol. I have to say NKU was my fav location, WKU was my fav campus, Murray had the most helpful staff, UK and UofL were great too. But now the moment you have all been waiting for, the school I am going to attend lol. After long thinking, in my opinion the reason why I couldent find a school was because all of them had a little something I liked but not everything. I am going to go out of state to the University of Louisiana Monroe. Tuition here at UK is above 4,000 dollers, at ULM its 1,900 and ever cheaper at others in Louisiana. Its just to expensive to go to school here when I have other options. I feel like I was just on ESPN and made my decision lol. Questions? Comments?
Thanks again all!

Out of state tuition is about $2000? Wow, that is cheap. Are you sure you didn't get a catalog from 1988? J/K Good luck and glad you found something. It is good to get away for college IMO.

Are you currently living in LA? If not I hate to ruin your day, but out of state tuition to ULM is actually closer to $5,000 per semester: http://www.ulm.edu/controller/sas/fallfees.pdf

Southeast Louisiana, which is a big school has tuition only about 1,700. They also offer transfer scholarships, (like for 3.0 you get 1,000). Not sure how it ranks as far as education though.

I definitely understand heading to LA for cheaper tuition. How did you get a tuition waiver and do you know what reasons they usually pass them out.
I'm currently trying to decide between WKU @ Elizabethtown, Louisville, or Park U in MO. Park is cheaper but WKU has a more fitting degree while Louisville has that nationally recognized name. The way they keep raising tuition in Virginia i have no desire to finish school here. It's too bad because i think very highly of Virginia's college and K-12 education system.
