London is considered Southeast and sometimes South Central KY.

Somebody doesn't know anything about London like they think they do.

I've never claimed to know a whole lot about London, once again you are blowing it out of proportion (or putting words in my mouth). I have only been there a few times and glad for that. Also, glad to get out of there, but that's another story for another day.

The "700" figure was pulled from memory and wasn't hard fact. My apology. I am working at the moment and don't really have the time to research most of the facts, but I digress. London is a small town and a Starbucks in a very small town is going to go before alot of others. May not be now, may not be tomorrow, but if the economy continues to be like this you can bet it will happen. Simple economics here.

London is not South Central in any way. It's not even in Central Kentucky. Bowling Green and Tompkinsville are South Central. London, to most people, is Eastern Kentucky through and through. At least it gets pandered to by the state government like it's Eastern Kentucky. I can see the Southeastern part, but it's still Eastern.....

I'm done with the comparison BS. Like I said, I'm not getting into a pissing match between two small insignificant towns in Western and Eastern Kentucky respectively. They are both similar and both different. The original poster should visit the two and decide for themselves which they prefer. Nothing said on here is going to sway them for the most part.

**I would really, highly, recommend they check both towns out. Both are going to present a "wake-up" call of sorts for various reasons most likely.

I would not refer to any town as "insignificant." That's like saying only your city matters and forget small town America. Nashville has it's fair share of problems, like all the crime and poverty on the East side.

I was born and raised in small town America. I fully understand it's significance in the fabric of our country. But, in the grand scheme of things, both towns in question here are not as important as say....Owensboro and stuff.

As for Nashville, some of the best hoods in the city are on the East Side and crime and poverty are a part of America. Both large and small unfortunatly.
