Has it even crossed y'all's minds that maybe the reason they rather married is that the idea is it will be a more stable family? Not that is always is but to me it makes sense. This state voted to ban gay marriage, what makes you think they would allow for gay adoption? Right, wrong of indifferent, it shouldn't be suprising and dang it if ya don't like it, you sure as heck aren't locked in!
Sorry if this seems hateful, it's just frustrating!

Speaking as someone who lives in a newly "blue" state, the liberal pockets of a red state better be careful what they ask for. The liberal pockets of Virginia wanted to replace a moderate democrat with a very liberal democrat in our 05 governor election. They got their wish with Tim Kaine. Now a gay marriage ban amendment (that the "liberal governor" Kaine signed), $3 billion in the hole, some of the worse traffic jams in the country going unaddressed later, a lesson learned; be careful what you wish for.

I believe a collective "we" might be stretching it, "some" may be more appropriate.

Given that 50% of all marriages end in divorce, this explanation is pure nonsense.

I have looked into adopting a Wednesday's child. You have to be married two years to even do it. Why? Because it "tends" to be more stable. Is it always? Of course not but what else do you have to go on? Do you have a better idea?

So if a gay couple has been effectively "married" for 2+ years, is that stable enough to adopt a child? IMO, there are so many children that need loving, stable homes, I can't see a logical reason why a gay, stable, committed couple should be barred from adopting.

Where did I say just gay? I said married, period. The law doesn't say anything about just gay, it say un-married. Why are y'all trying to make me into a bigot? No I don't agree with the gay lifestyle, heck I don't agree with cohabitating but I don't hate, either
