Default Where are you from?

I notice the state is represented well on here. With regular posters from Pikeville to near Paducah (wherever Davart lives) to Lexington, Louisville, London and Bowling Green. Where are the Owensboro, Henderson people??

Isn't Davart from Henderson area but now lives further west?

I actually have trouble deciding where I'm from. I was born in Covington & lived in Florence until age 4. Then moved to Russell & Casey county areas until age 11 - most of my mom's family lives in that area. Moved to Lexington at age 11, it's an alright place but has never felt like home. Moved to Louisville after HS worked for a year then started at U of L. After 4 years at college I got Junioritis (aka burnout syndrome) and moved back to Lexington where I am for the time being.

I usually tend to say I'm Russell Springs transplant that lives Louisville (or right now Lexington)

Davart has lived in 8 states (been to all 50 of them) and lived and/or resided for several months in 10 countries (been to over a 120 of them) and now hails from the glorious metropolis of Farmington, KY population about a dozen unless someone has company ... sa-lute! (How the hell did I end up here, you might ask .... well I do too.)

Moved here from Clarksville/Hopkinsville area after the Japanese economy crashed and Mitsubishi Machine Tool moved back to Japan, I opted not to transfer back to Chicago and all the others options was in other countries. (momma said NO!!)

I was raised in Henderson (actually Zion) but born in Peru, went to school in Lexington, yes I lived at Commonwealth Village on Limestone and W. Virginia Ave. (by the tracks) Early on I lived in Danville on Herrington Lake (Paradise Camp Rd) and still have family all over the place there in central KY other side of the family is from the mountain in Letcher Co. (Jeremiah) and various places around the globe.

While I wasn't born here and spent a lot of time in other places, KY has always been home. Before it's all said and done I'll move again a few times ... I have the traveling bug, it runs in the family.

Now you know more than you cared about.

Davart, other than that, you haven't done a damn thing, have you? lol
I was born and raised in Mayfield, lived in Murray a couple times besides my year and a half of college, with a couple short stays in Henderson I lived the next 25 or so in Union County, moving from Morganfield to Sturgis. Moved here to Cadiz a year ago this month. Always been here in western Kentucky, the forgotten part of the state!

Actually, if you are outside of the triangle, you are in a forgotten part of the state.

Anywho, Murray/Calloway County here.
