If you look closely in the Rose Garden you'll see there is a hollow tree, in which resides several Keebler Elves and each has a pretty snazzy laser printer. Now you know.

How stupid of me! Now I know the answer. Do you think they could print some up for me? I could use a little to pay for cleaning up after this "ice event" we just had.

Thanks!!

Remember the government can PRINT NEW MONEY. Obviously it is not coming from tax dollars because it is deficit spending. That said adding billions more dollars to the money supply reduces the dollar's value so it is a tax in a way.

I'm not a big fan of the stimulus package, but then again Republicans did nothing to stop all the spending under Bush.

Let's see... Otter Creek is losing a dollar for every visitor it gets (I think it gets 300k visitors annually and looses $300k a year. Why not put a $1 toll to get in???

On the same token, I never understood why the state closed all those rest areas. Why not put a 50 cent toll on every other one?

(sorry for 3 conseq posts)

What is the Southwest Parkway in BG? Doesn't Natcher Pky already connect Nashville & Russellville Roads? Is it more important than widening Scottsville Rd from Campbell Ln to I-65?

Some of my other "favorites"
in Louisville...
* a shared bike path on Southern Parkway - there already is one!!
* $10 MILLION to repave 143 miles of roads - whoopty doo

a quick glance Lexington doesn't seem to have any noticable super pork

I like this one:

"Downtown plaques in various parks and spaces need to be cleaned in anticipation of 2010 World Equestrian Games" Lexington, KY $75,000

All the while, Murray has been in need of a bypass around town for two decades now. Maybe I will see it in 2040. I still doubt it though.
