That is so aggrivating, how dare she get so big for her britches that she forgets where she came from!

Some want to put down the backwoods and poor while they prance around with their uppity attitudes and fake lives, I didn’t come from Kentucky but purty close just one state down and I’ll take country folk any day over the pretentious or shall I just say highfalutin.

Any documentary about inner city Black crime emphasizes that most people don't live like that. Any documentary about poor Whites in Appalachia always makes it look like everyone lives like that.

How about Bill O'Reilly?

You know attention like what ABC was examining can bring action that could help some of these areas.

There is not anything wrong with being an accomplished and successful human being, which Diane clearly is. So what if she doesn't know what country ham is. When I was in high school I had a couple of friends over for breakfast in my teeny tiny rural Kentucky hometown, all of us born and raised there, and those girls didn't know what country ham was when my Mama fixed it. Not everyone in the state is a fan of pork products. Many of you are trying to put her into a mold and make her fit a Kentucky sterotype....isn't that what all the fuss is about, sterotypes. Why make her fit one.

There are very few Kentuckians who don't know what country ham is. Maybe she is afraid she wouldn't be taken seriously if she acts like a Kentuckian, who knows.
