Most White people in Minnesota are of German or Scandinavian ancestry while most White people in Kentucky are of Scottish, Irish, or English heritage. There are some Germans in parts of Louisville & NKY - there's even a Swiss Lutheran settlement in Lincoln County, but it's overwhelmingly British Isles orgin
Can somone tell me the difference between minnesota whites and kentucky whites. What are the difference between the people,culture and association.
I am friends with several Minnesota natives and they are super nice people. Very down to earth and friendly. Most people that I have met from there seem to be that way. They sure do love Tapioca pudding and dairy products.
The reason why i put this question is because of differences that i saw among white Minnesota and white Kentucky. white women in Kentucky tend to have beautiful eyes while in Minnesota is different.

The major difference IMO would be that it gets darn cold and stays that way in MN, while in Kentucky, it might get cold, or hot, and it will change soon. How that affects social behavior, I am certain can be differentiated.
