UofL women to face UConn in NCAA finals - SPORTS UPDATE - Kentucky.com

I remember a few years ago when people were thrilled if the U of L women's bball team made the NCAA tourney and now they're in the championship game... absolutely incredible. I think it's a long shot to beat UConn, but it's still been an incredible season

That was an incredible comeback in the 2nd half.

I actually felt sorry for the U of L coach at halftime.
I think the coach, also, should get credit for turning the team around at halftime.

Census... while I am extremely happy with the Lady Cards, you put this note on the Kentucky page. People of Louisville have extreme inability to accept University of Louisville outside of the shadow of Freedom Hall/Papa Johns. Although there is a 40/40/20 (40% for UL 40% for UK 20% for all others in Louisville and Oldham County) there is a 10/80/10 for the rest of Kentucky.

So there will be a lot of "who cares" on this page.

Go Cards! (from a UK grad)

I have never figured out why they do the women's championship on Tuesday. It seems like it would garner more viewership if they did their FF on Fri and their championship game on Sun, while people are all amped up about the men's tourney. Tuesday is just not a good night for ratings.
