Bowling Green and especially WKU are very diverse. Will you brother be a freshman or is he transferring from another school. I ask because Freshmen and Sophmores are required to live on campus so I am not sure how to answer your housing question.

Yes he will be a freshman, but we were thinking of relocating to help him adjust since all his family is here in Florida.

So you are wanting a house for a family? How many bedrooms, baths, etc. I would suggest you try to visit the city before making any sort of decision on housing.

I never use this forum for that purpose and was asking specifics to recommend an area they might find it in. I figured they were renting and I do not even handle rental property personally. Sometime people just like to be helpful and friendly to those coming to their area and do not do it for any other motive. I always try to help those moving to Bowling Green or the surrounding areas with any information I can. Sheesh, you need to get a life.

I'm transfering there in the fall, and I just visited yesterday. I had been before but never really explored the town. I was surprised at how nice it is. It has some great historic areas. It seems to epitomize the typical colege town, which brings diversity. It has everything you would expect in a large city (shopping, dining, recreation, arts, etc) just in a much more compact form.
Being from Louisville, I was expecting a narrow minded, Bible belt town, but I was pleasently surprised.

Wow, overreact much? I know this has nothing to do with me, but I really don't think he/she meant that post to be offensive. As a matter of fact, I perceived it as more of a compliment than anything. You were going out of your way to help this person by asking detailed questions about their housing situation, and the poster basically said "You can tell she's a realtor (because she knows just what to ask, just how to help, etc)." Take a chill pill!

I think by you even responding to something that is none of your business, you are the one that is overeacting, but if it makes you feel better...so be it. BTW, the post was not meant to be a compliment at all.
