check Real Estate Including Residential and Commercial Real Estate | RE/MAX International, Inc.. Look for London, Corbin, East Bernstadt, Mount Vernon. The counties are Laurel, Rockcastle, Whitley, Knox, & Pulaski. I suspect your best schools will be found in Pulaski or Whitney, but can't do more than hypothesize.

Wal-Mart Distribution Center in London starts out around $14.00 an hour I believe and more than that for 3rd shift. They used to always have an ad in the paper stating they were hiring, I haven't seen it in the paper for a long time now.
I like the area East of London, although most growth is West of town. Areas along East Laurel Rd (East Highway 80) are so nice. Nearly all the houses in that area have large yards. It's in the Bush Elementary district which has the best test scores in the Laurel County Schools. This area has seen quite a bit of growth in the past 10 years and is starting to rival the West end of London.

Yesterday I stopped at a restaurant near Exit 41. I don't recall the name of it, but it is inside the BP truckstop. Best catfish I ever tasted.

I "come back" as much as possible.
Family, friends, and that Kentucky attitude can be addictive.
That KY jelly ain't good with peanut butter though...
