I have read on the Internet in many places that i66 and i69 are coming to Paducah I was wondering if that was true and where they would meet each other also if this could turn Paducah around and bring more buisness in thanks

It's not very likely. I-69 will most likely happen in the very near future, although it technically won't go through paducah or mccracken county (although it will be very close). In fact, the Kentucky segment of I-69 already exists because they will simply use the Purchase Parkway, I-24, and West KY Parkway to move through the area.
I-66 most likely won't be built in KY. There really isn't a great need for it, and it would wind through some protected land in Eastern KY. The country has more important uses for the billions of dollars it would take to construct it.
The addition of I-69 can only help things develop. While I doubt it will transform the area quickly, over the long term I think it will increase development and improve the economic fortunes of the area.

I agree 100%. 69 is going nowhere near Paducah. And 66 is a useless road. We are too close to I-40.

I read a while back that the main one wanting I-66 was Bunning. If that doesn't doom the road, I don't know what will! lol

I would consider less than 10 miles (to the Reidland exit) to be pretty close.

I-69 isn't going anywhere near the Reidland exit. It comes in on the Purchase Parkway, turns on I-24 near Calvert City by that race track, turns on the WK Parkway, Then the Pennyrile Parkway and will cross the Ohio River near Henderson, Ky., and Evansville, In. They still haven't decided where to build the bridge, but will be on the east side of Henderson.

He is our illustrious United States Senator who is an embarassment both to the state of Kentucky and the Republican party. ONE of his latest stunts came when it was announced that Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg had pancreatic cancer, Bunning predicted in a speech that she would likely be dead within 9 months. Even the Republican party is pulling away from helping him with his reelection a little.

As I said in my prior post, the Purchase Parkway/I-24 interchange is less than 10 miles from the Reidland exit. I've travelled the I-24 section from Paducah to the Purchase Parkway hundreds of times and know how long it takes to get from the reidland exit to the parkway. It is between 9-10 miles. I don't know about you, but anything in the vicinity of 10 miles is pretty close. Everything in my previous post is correct.
